Honey & Whisk Ltd are committed to providing clear and accurate allergen and dietary information in accordance with UK food safety legislation, including the requirements of the Food Standards Agency and the Food Information Regulations 2014.

Allergens

Important Allergy Notice

All products made by Honey & Whisk are prepared in a kitchen environment that handles a range of allergens including, but not limited to:

  • Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats)

  • Eggs

  • Milk

  • Nuts (including peanuts and tree nuts)

  • Soybeans

  • Sesame

While we take reasonable precautions to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.

Customers with severe allergies are advised to contact us before placing an order.

UK Major Allergens

Under UK food law, the following 14 allergens must be declared where present:

  1. Celery

  2. Cereals containing gluten

  3. Crustaceans

  4. Eggs

  5. Fish

  6. Lupin

  7. Milk

  8. Molluscs

  9. Mustard

  10. Peanuts

  11. Sesame

  12. Soybeans

  13. Sulphur dioxide/sulphites

  14. Tree nuts

A full allergen breakdown for each product is available upon request, displayed on product listings, and labelled on each product’s ingredients list in bold capitals (e.g. WHEAT).

Prepacked Products & Natasha’s Law

Where products are classified as prepacked for direct sale (PPDS), full ingredient labelling with allergens emphasised will be provided in accordance with UK legislation, including Natasha’s Law.

Dietary Information

We may offer products described as:

  • Vegetarian

  • Vegan

  • Dairy-free

  • Gluten-free

  • Nut-free

However:

  • “Gluten-free” products are not produced in a certified gluten-free kitchen unless specifically stated.

  • “Nut-free” means no nut ingredients are intentionally added, but traces may still be present due to shared equipment or suppliers.

  • Vegan products may be prepared in areas where animal products are handled.

Customers with medical dietary requirements should contact us before ordering.

Ingredient Changes

Ingredients and suppliers may change from time to time. Although we aim to keep all allergen and dietary information accurate and up to date, recipes may occasionally vary without prior notice.

Please check allergen information each time you order.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Inform us of any allergies or intolerances before ordering.

  • Review ingredient and allergen information provided.

  • Contact us with any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods.

We reserve the right to decline orders where we believe we cannot safely accommodate a specific allergy requirement.
